Preschool!

The day after Labor Day, Leo started Preschool! Here are the mandatory first day of school pictures. Leo really wanted to show off his cool new McQueen backpack in the picture ;)

 

Leo turned 4!

On August 18th, Leo turned 4! He had his birthday party at a jumping place and he was very excited about it.

Now he always refers back to when he was 3. Remember when I was 3 and such and such happened? He has a good memory! He seems so grown up these days and he is learning a lot and says random things all the time that I wish I was better at recording! He is very outgoing and loves playing with friends. He still loves dinosaurs and trucks! Some of his favorite foods are shrimp, broccoli, PB&J, dried mangoes and blueberries (or any berry). Leo adores his daddy and especially loves it when daddy pushes him high on the tire swing at our new house.

At his 4 year appointment, he weighed 39 lbs (71%) and height 3'6 (76%)

We're having fun watching him grow! A part of me is sad that he is getting bigger but it's exciting to hear what he has to say and how his personality is developing.

Disney World 2017

In June we took a road trip to Florida and met up with some of my relatives to go to Disney World! It was Leo and Mina's first time. Ronnie and I had been as kids.

 The first day we went to Magic Kingdom! 

We had dinner with Mickey and his friends which Leo was VERY excited about! 

 Ironically, my brother was in town for work so we picked him up after Magic Kingdom to visit.

Hollywood Studios was the next day. The favorite ride was the shooting toy story ride :)

Animal Kingdom!

 The last day was Epcot. We stayed all day and saw the fireworks at night.

Overall it was a whirlwind trip to Disney. I can't wait until Mina is older and likes princesses to go again! My aunt pretty much spoonfed us Disney! We had fun and its always great to see family.

Dismal Swamp Walk

Beautiful day for a walk. Leo was excited to find all the little creatures.  

Mina is ONE!

I still can't believe my baby is ONE! Time sure does fly!

Weight: 18lbs 13 oz (34th percentile)

Height: 28.7 inches (31st percentile)

About Mina:

Still just scoots along, no walking yet

Meaning...All her pants have a hole in the left knee

Sleeping through the night again! Wahoo!

Loves her food! Don't plan on eating in front of her without giving her some!

Has only ever given kisses to pictures of herself 

Loves her blankie

Says; Piper, woah, leo, mom, dad, hi, uh-oh, baby, "blankie", no no, and other unknown words that mean something!

Points and tells you who it is, Piper, Leo, etc.

Mischievous and a dare devil!

She is such a happy baby but definitely has a personality with sass!

Her first birthday was a family affair. She wasn't interested in opening her presents but that's okay because her brother was more than happy to do it for her! She absolutely loved her cake. She just kept eating so we had to eventually take it away haha. 

She is a well loved little girl!

Leo at the Zoo

Leo started a little class at the zoo for the month of March. They are learning about different farm animals and they get to meet the animal. Leo seems to enjoy it even though I think it is a little young for him (even though the sign up said 2-4, probably should be 18 months to 2 or something). 

The zoo keepers ask if anyone has any questions, Leo raises his hand and asks, "Is it a herbivore?"

11 Months!

Mina is 11 months!

I can't believe she is going to be one soon! The time has flown by.

Sealing Day

On January 14th, Mina was sealed to our family for time and all eternity in the Washington D.C. temple. Such a wonderful day! She was so beautiful and it was great for our whole family to be in the temple. So here are a bunch of pictures!
