Birthday!

30. Eek.

(Pic courtesy of my mom)

Some people have a list of things that want before they turn 30. I didn't do that....
But if I did I would only need one! Best thing that happened to me before 30 is this little guy above!
(Although that trip to Belize was pretty sweet too ;))

Oh So Thrifty!

Did you know you can do this??

http://doityourselfdivas.blogspot.com/2011/09/diy-swiffer-solution-refill.html

I went to get another swiffer refill and I didn't have one! Ugh! So I really don't want to pay for new ones and I had some Pine-Sol I got for free with coupons. But I did NOT want to wash the floor on my hands and knees. I have to mop pretty much every other day. Then I remembered a post my friend (from like 20+ years ago!!!) put on her DIY blog.

Basically what you do is boil the lid on the swiffer refill for about 10-20 seconds. (Wait until its boiling...I got anxious and did it when it was simmering and it didn't work.) Then take your dishtowel and twist the cap off!!

Refill with your own solution. So I mixed my Pine-Sol and water. Then I mopped. PERFECT!

I think I'll be doing this a lot! So easy and free!
