Sunny Days

We've been having so much rain but last week we had a bit of a reprieve....of course now we're back to rain again! I want to be outside!

Here we went to the zoo on a gorgeous day. 

           

We played on the porch. 

We went to the beach. It was Mina's first beach day and I have to say she was ridiculously cute in

that yellow swimsuit. And of course Leo is a natural beach bum ;)

We also went to the botanical gardens (they have a fun kids area) but I failed to get any pics except this one. Mina didn't actually get in the water but I made her wear the swimsuit anyway! Leo had a blast of course.

I'm looking forward to some more sunny days! Hopefully we have some soon! 

Mina is 2 Months!

What's Mina been up to this past month...

She was blessed at our church.
She met her Slaven grandparents
Went to Colonial Williamsburg for the first time
Had a baby shower
Went on her first hike (aka walking around our wooded lot)
She has always been really strong but now she turns her head all over the place to see whats happening (while sitting up)
Smiles a lot!
She loves her brother a lot!
She started to like her swing a little bit and loves her baby play mat (not sure what you would call it)

At 7 weeks...

Weighed: 9lbs 12 oz
Height: 21.81 inches
Head circum. 14.57 inches

Mina's Blessing Day

Little Mina was blessed in our church Sunday, May 15th. Ronnie did a beautiful blessing and Mina screamed the whole time but you could still hear Ronnie over the microphone. He said he couldn't hear himself though. After the blessing, they gave her back to me and she was perfectly happy. What can I say, she's a Mama's girl!

So here are a million pictures! (Thanks to my mother in law for taking a lot of these!) It was hard to narrow it down! She is just so cute! I figure if you're looking at this blog you want to see lots of pics of these kiddos anyways! ;)

Pure happiness!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day, Ma! She is the most caring, loving, service-oriented person I know AND she just knows when I need a slurpee (which is the most important ;))

 Also, Happy Mother's Day to our beautiful birth moms. They are the most selfless people I know and I'm so grateful they gave me the chance to be a mom to the most adorable littles.

I'm not sure how I got so lucky to have so many great, inspiring women in my life!

 

 Not the best "selfies" but I wanted to get a picture with both kiddos. Leo was having a rough time before church so I didn't get to get one with him and Mina together! 

Leo was so cute this morning...He ran in my bedroom and said, 

"Good morning Mama, Happy Mother's Day!"
