Snow Day

It doesn't usually snow where we live but today it did.....

Well, it started last night. Our neighbors decided to celebrate with fireworks....at 11pm.... Needless to say, Piper was freaked and was trying to hide under anything and Leo woke up and was crying....It took us an hour to get them calmed down and in bed again.

We woke up the next morning to too much snow (for me at least, zero is best ;)).

Hello world!

Everything was closed, so Ronnie was able to stay home (although he still 

worked all day). He took Leo outside for a minute to enjoy his first Virginia snow

(we were in Utah when it snowed last week). 

Piper thinks the snow is easier to dig then dirt!

First Plane Ride

Leo, my mom and I took a trip to Utah last week to visit family.

Leo had his first plane ride and made best friends with people on the plane! He is so social!

When we got there we spent time with my grandma and we were able

to see my aunts, uncles and cousins as well. They all adored Leo even though he 

was unusually fussy that whole week (caught something on the plane? missed daddy?)

Leo was happy to go home and see his daddy and Piper!

(Although, he was the screaming baby on part of the flight...eek)

 

5 Months

Leo is 5 months today!

 What Leo's been up to:

• Loves to suck on his feet (and everything else!)
• Wants what you have!
• Had his first Christmas and New Years (and was even up at Midnight)!
• Had his first experience riding in the front of a shopping cart
• Hams it up when ever we are in public... such a charmer
• Can roll over
• Sits up for short periods of time
• Anxious to get around
• Wary of rice cereal but loves sweet potatoes!
• Laughs and smiles at Piper 
• Is not allowed to have books in church anymore because he screams at them!
