Family Beach Day

What a beautiful beach day. We decided to head to the beach this past Saturday and it was absolutely perfect. It wasn't as hot and humid as it has been. Ronnie doesn't get to go to the beach with us that often so Leo definitely took advantage of daddy time! Leo was a lot braver in the water as well. He takes a while to warm up to it and is pretty nervous but he did well!

Mina was just happy as a clam chewing on her hat string.

Family and Travel

At the beginning of the month my brother and his little family came for a visit. The cousins all got to meet. Mina and Teddy are actually twin cousins...born on the same day!

It was also Cory's birthday and it was fun to celebrate with him. Leo especially enjoyed it and helped Cory open all his gifts and blow out his candles ;) I had to throw this pic in there...Leo was washing his train...in his underwear. Typical.

The grandparents and all their grandkids!

 Twin Cousins!

After we visited with Cory's family for the weekend, Ronnie, Mina and I had to head to the airport
to go to California for a couple days. Leo got to have a fun time with Nana! So glad she was able to take him while we left...that trip would have been torturous for a very active toddler!

The trip had a rough start...the weather had us sitting on the plane at the airport for 3 hours so we missed our connection in Chicago and we had to stay the night there and take a flight the next day to another city and drive to where we were going. Mina also had 2 explosions on the way out leaving us all with poopy pants and not enough extra clothes for Mina. They lost our luggage so we were stuck wearing poopy pants for 2 days.

Mina was trooper while she shopped in target with just a diaper and a ghetto car seat because they lost the car seat too. Luckily, we got our stuff an hour before having to go to all our appointments!

Mina was a serious trooper the whole trip...just a smiley little girl. We were so glad the trip home was smoother and to get home to Leo! We missed his cute face.
