Leo and Piper Diaries

Leo has grown more fond of our dear Piper.
He smiles and talks to her and pulls and tries to eat her fur. :)

Funny/cute/annoying story:

So we got Leo this bouncer (see video above) since he is such a wiggly guy....and I put him in it for a minute so I could vacuum. Well as soon I turn on the vacuum Piper starts barking and attacking it...then she would run over to Leo (who is in the bouncer) and stand in front of him and lick his face. Then run back over to the vacuum and bark/attack it, and repeat.  I guess she didn't want the vacuum to get him. Needless to say I had to remove Leo and relocate him so I could vacuum...

3 Months

The time is flying and I can't believe Leo is 3 months today!

He gets cuter, more vocal and more wiggly every day.

 

Leo weighs approx. 14 lbs

 

In the past month:

 

He went on his first road trip to Kansas

Cheered for daddy at the Richmond marathon

Turns 180 degrees in his crib

Still wakes up during the night.....

Concentrates really hard when he is trying to grab something (see pics above...he wants those toes)

Sucks on his hands until they are red

Very vocal and laughs the best when pulling mommy's hair

Camera shy.

Still wants to be held...all the time...

Fights sleep during the day

He fell asleep once while playing...miracle! :)

He's is just a very active little boy and we love him!

A Walk in the Park

We've been enjoying the weather lately.

 

First a walk at Oak Grove Park with my mom, Leo and Piper.

Piper was more obnoxious than normal that day...so we'll remember how cute Leo was!

First Halloween

Leo's first Halloween!

We carved our pumpkin (well Ronnie did...), roasted pumpkin seeds, and welcomed trick-or-treaters.

 We went to our ward's trunk or treat....

Leo was the cutest dinosaur around!

Kansas

We took a road trip to Kansas so Leo and Piper could meet Ronnie's family.  It was quite the trip! It took us 25 hours straight there. Leo and Piper did very well. We left after work on Friday so Leo and Piper would sleep most of the time.

 

While there we visited with family members, saw 2 parades and Ronnie ran in a 2 mile fun run.

On the way home we decided to stay the night at a hotel midway.

It was Leo's first hotel experience and he slept all night!!
